Terms of Service

1. What RankMySocialMedia is

RankMySocialMedia (“the Platform”) is a social-media visibility marketplace. Users create public profiles and may bid for sponsored ranking positions on category and location leaderboards. A sponsored position is an advertising placement determined by bids. It is not a statement that the holder is objectively better than any other creator, business or brand.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information.
• One person or organisation per account. Usernames are unique and may be reclaimed if inactive or infringing.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.

3. Bidding and payments

• Bids are binding once payment is verified by our servers. Positions are calculated by the Platform and may change at any time when other users bid.
• You pay exactly your bid amount; no fee is added at the time of bidding. A platform fee of 10% plus applicable taxes is deducted whenever a bid amount is returned to your wallet (for example when you are outbid or finish outside the top 3).
• Bid amounts are held while you hold a position. At the end of a ranking period the bids of the top 3 positions are captured and are non-refundable; those profiles are eligible for a collaboration with RankMySocialMedia. Bids finishing outside the top 3, and bids that are outbid during the period, are released to your wallet as credit. Wallet credit can be used for new bids or refunded on request, subject to verification.
• The “RankMySocialMedia Star” programme (a sponsored trip and promotion) is awarded at our sole discretion to a profile we select. It cannot be purchased, is subject to eligibility and travel requirements, and may be substituted or withdrawn.
• We may cancel bids and refund reserved amounts where fraud, error or abuse is suspected.

4. Social accounts and Social Score

Accounts connected through official platform APIs are labelled accordingly. Accounts you add manually are labelled “Self-added” and their metrics are not verified. Social Score is an automated estimate of organic social presence and is never influenced by payments.

The verified badge is included with the Pro plan (currently ₹499 per 30 days). It is shown while Pro is active and paused if Pro lapses. RankMySocialMedia may remove the badge from any account that breaches these terms or the community guidelines, without refund.

5. Acceptable use

• No impersonation, fake accounts, purchased followers or misleading claims.
• No manipulation of bids, including collusion or self-bidding through multiple accounts.
• No content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit or infringing.

We may restrict, suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and remove listings at our discretion.

6. Liability

The Platform is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for outcomes of visibility you obtain through sponsored positions.
